JULIA CHADI

I am currently in grade 9. This is my 3rd year in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School. This International Program challenges students academically and provides them with the opportunity to learn by becoming involved in the community.  In addition to the core subjects that we are taught, we are required to learn Spanish, work on Design projects and perform community service.  For Design, we had to build a piece of furniture out of recycled material, and for community service, I volunteered in various school & locally organized events.

I attended St-Anthony’s elementary school from 2006-2013. Seven wonderful years with great teachers and staff that were always there by my side to encourage me to learn and do my best in anything that I did. One of my memorable moments at St-Anthony’s was the Grad ski trip.  I had such a great time with my friends and teachers going up and down the ski hill.  At one point during the day, we were asked to go into the forest to get some sticks for the marshmallow roast.  We had so much fun that weekend that we didn’t want to leave.  Friendships drew closer, and it left me with lasting memories that I will never forget.
